Age of students
l Age 3 - 6 (mostly from 4 to 6)
Duties
l Working time: 8:30am – 5:30 pm, lunch break 12pm-2:20pm, Monday to Friday, ten and a half month teaching period in total
l Usually 30-40 minutes per class, 20-30 students per class
l For your classes, there are four teachers for each class, including a Chinese English teacher, teaching assistant, babysitting teacher and the lead teacher (you).
l You will have one class (40 minutes) each morning, and you need to follow other teachers’ classes ( act as a teaching assistant for other teachers if they need, but not duties of babysitting). You will have four afternoon classes in total per week. If you don’t have any class in the afternoon, you don’t need to follow other teachers’ class, and you can prepare your lesson in the office.
Allowance (from the school)
l Free lunch on working days
l Salary: 13,000 RMB per month (pre-tax)
l No salary during winter break (most kindergartens don’t pay for breaks)
l Full paid on Chinese public holidays
l Housing allowance: 1500 yuan.
l RMB 8,000 flight reimbursement upon completion for one-year contract
